***The Battle for Evrault'ferand***
Site release 4 (beta 0.76j)

by Justin Pereira (JRPereira on b.net)

Well, I've stopped trying to define what to call this new game type. Call it what you want. It's simmilar to various maps, from dota to rpg to arena, diablo duels, etc. Two teams of heroes start at opposite sides of a forest, trying to complete various quests and battling enemy heroes every while or so (the goal of the map is to get all enemy heroes dead at the same time).

The map has (as far as I know) a unique revival system, where players can place a potion of revival in a dead player's tombstone (the tombstone appears where the player died and has a 1-slot inventory) for instant revival. If that player isn't revived during the timer after death, he is eliminated from the game. There's also various other features like the alchemy system (collect ingredients that monsters drop and they'll combine automatically to create various 1-shot spells). All charged items can stack, including alchemy spells, flare guns, purchasble mini-towers, potions, scrolls, etc. A few item sets are in as well, and a blocking system for shields (seperate from evasion).

There are a few custom heroes so far and I'll be adding more heroes as time goes on. Various other things are coming, all in time.

*** Some of the changes since the last site release ***
- MAJOR stability updates - there are far far less fatal errors
- Creeps are modified to be a bit stronger to start and much more bearable at later levels.
- Updates to the army units so they fight much better. Their spawners are less expensive now too.
- Various balance fixes, tooltip updates, bug fixes, jass conversion of more ui triggers (with optimization)
